Just learned of you from a recommendation by a Bahamian Jazz guitarist who owns a record store here in manhattan called One Love in Hell's Kitchen. I picked up "all sides now"-sure to enjoy others, too. Anyway, you've got another fan and I'll be catching you at one of your shows here in the next few months. Cheers, Grier

dear Pat, the way you play the melody on "your welcome to a prayer" really convinced me that you are not only a guitarplayer but really a poet.thanks for this experience. martien.

Dear Pat, What is the Phiadelphia experiment, and I've never heard of the players involved, could you tell a little about them? Best wishes.

Dear Pat: The last time we saw each other December of 1977, in NYC. I was headed back to California, having flown up from St. Bartz at your invitation. You graciously hosted my visit, which included a wonderful night at Sweet Basil. Earlier that year you and Bobby Rose played at one of my shows in Berkeley, at the Community Theatre (Robben Ford and Lee Ritenour were on the bill). The reviews were wonderful, and you in particular the late John Wasserman singled out (and rightfully so) as having been the star of the evening. It was spendid. I'm doing a project in Chicago now, and look forward to seeing you in December at the Jazz Showcase. Jeff Meilandt

Dear Pat, This is the first e-mail I've ever sent so please bear with me. I met you once in the mid-eighties when I was studying with Dennis Sandole. You were playing some shows in Cape May. My friends and I came down from central NJ (underage at the time) and you helped us to see a great show . I have never forgotten how honored I was . When I listen to you play, it's like seeing my father's face. Your music is a great source of inspiration to me. Look for some of my music to come out in Sept. You'd never know I even listened to you Love, Stu

I am a Philadelphia-born Polish American jazz guitarist who lives in Poland. I'm writing this while listening to "Footprints", the first of your albums I've ever had the great pleasure to really check out. I've been playing and listening to the music for about 20 years now, and I knew of you, but ashamed as I am to admit it, it's taken this long. The flip-side of the shame is the exhiliration of knowing that I've got some SERIOUS LISTENING (read - SERIOUS GROOVING) ahead of me. THANK YOU!
