Mr Martino Thank you so much to answer my questions. Actualy I was able to find out your strings guage from reading privous guest book. The store in NYC has no 58 on the bottom so i use 59 instead. This guage are thiner than the one i was using over ten years so this may help prevent from carpal tunnel syndrome,I've experienced severe pain last year. By the way, may i ask another question if may? I transcribed your acoustic solo "Prelude" from album "starbright" Did you use Reguler acoustic strings set on that recording? if you remember, well it's over 20 yeas ago. I use 12th set, 13th is too havey for me and how about Pick? I use HERCO FLEX75,I found this pick sound not too bright. Larry Coryell use this pick too and Ovation "Super Adamas" How did you record that? I don't think you used Piezo pick up but I like way it's sound a lot. It's kind of hard to find an acoustic guitar that i like. I like supar adamas but model has been changed since, do you have any sugestion? Lastly, Thank you for your coment on our website www.bluenumbernine.com and I hope to see you sometime soon. ARIGATO MATANE!

Dear Minoru, To answer your questions, my birthdate is August 25th, 1944 and the guages that I'm using at this moment are 15 - 17 - 24 - 32 - 42 - 52. Although, I've normally used 16 - 18 - 26 - 36 - 48 - 58, (the use of 15 to 52 are the thinest I've ever used). Your groups website is just great. Most of all, thank you for your lovely wishes. I wish the same for you and yours.

I just go Think Tank today, which I have been waiting for some time. WOW. I am going to have members of my group hear it because we have the same ensemble sax, bass, drums, keyboards, and me on guitar. A great inspiration for us. It will take many months, like Live at Yoshi's to really listen to it all. Thanks for the wonderful music.

Pat - Your wonderful playing has always inspired me. Last time you visited the Twin Cities, I brought my 16-year old son (also a player) to your show. Your performance changed his understanding of the instrument! Please come back to Minneapolis.St.Paul soon. Brian
