Hi. Been listening to jazz for some time now, mostly 'Trane, Corea and Scofield. Just got hooked on Pat Martino. Great player. Hope you make it to the Washington, D.C. area some time soon. Good luck.

I have been a huge fan of yours since 1976,and have several of your albums, one video and one book. Your playing inspires me greatly. I would love to see and hear you play live, will you be coming to Australia in the near future? I tell all my students and music loving friends about you and each time I do this you win an other fan. Regards from Oz, and keep well. Tony Calabro, Australia.

Pat, I can't wait to see you back in California. I had such a great time at your last Yoshi's concert a couple of years ago. I"ll try to be at the Santa Cruz concert on Dec 11, but will definitively see one or two of the Yoshi's concerts in Oakland on Dec 15-17. When I get kind of lazy playing the gee-tar, I go back and listen to "the great stream, Special door or Conciousness" and I get a kick in the butt! Then, I am back on track.

I have studied Sandole's music theory and would like to pick up jazz guitar after many years break. Does anyone know of a jazz guitar teacher in Houston, TX who can combine theory and practice like Sandole?

I had the pleasure of catching your clinic at Uarts this morning and it was totally awe inspiring. I went home and practiced for hours just lost in your theory and logic discussion

Hey now, thanks for the great turn on to the nature of the guitar. What a trip...Buckminster-Fuller would have loved it. Anyway, let WMNF (community radio) know when you can make it to Tampa, Florida, there are some good venues here and we would like to see you.

Pat, 335 S. Watts St. What a wonderful time in life. My music lesson was just before yours. As I was taking my lesson from Dennis, I can still remember hearing this kid in the next room practicing Johnny Smith runs. Pat, I Don't know if you heard the sad news, but Dennis passed away on 10/3/00. Services will be held in Roxboro, Pa. I believe on 10/4/00. Jim

It's not every day that I have a few extra bucks in my pocket to spend on a CD. Last night I wandered the jazz aisle at the Paradise Valley Best Buy, moving from Kenny Burrell to Grant Green to Jim Hall to Barney Kessel to John McLaughlin to Pat Metheny to Wes Montgomery and then all over again and again. Then I remembered that several years ago, a friend had told me about this guy named Pat Martino, an incredible guitarist who got sick and would never play again. I was pleased to find an ample selection and settled on "Mission Accomplished". Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you God for gving us Pat Martino and thanks for making him whole again! Lots of great playing and much to study and learn here (for my own playing). Needless to say, I have some catching up to do and I'll be spending more of my hard earned cash and my precious listening time on Mr Martino's music. Wonderful! Warmest Regards Mark Taylor
