Dear Mr.Pat Martino. Thanks for your music which is always wonderful. It's rather belatedly, I listened the album "ALL SIDES NOW" for the first time yesterday. This is so smokin' but "Both Sides Now" (duet with Cassandra Wilson)is especially good !! I was struck by the music beauty. I wish I could linten your duet album "WILSON AND Martino" (if I got the album, how happy I would be !). Well, Please give my best regards to Mrs.Ayako. Cordially, Araki,Kaoru (Imaiyu) Won't you visit me once in a while ? Internet Manga Site "Pulita's Wild Adventure" http://member.nifty.ne.jp/pulita/

Pat, I'm 43years old ,been playing most of my life.Twenty years ago (or so)a player named Mike Gallager showed up playing the same club circuit as me.He was playing some cool stuff. He loaned me some of your records(and some transcripts)and said this was where he was getting his lines.Well after that I spent hours, days, weeks, into years studying(and copying) your stream of notes.I really want to thank you for that and to say many players have tried but no one can do it like you.I can play several of your solos note for note, but I ask myself now why?? You probably could'nt either ,unless you were silly enough to re learn them.By that I mean playing is from the heart not to be repeated instead enjoyed as they stream out from the great gift given us. Thanks A true Fan Lewis Varnedoe

Dear Pat, I received Seven Sketches yesterday. The compositions are enjoyable, and quite different from your other work. It is satisfying to hear a varying form of your artistry. I encourage you to continue composing and orchestrating your original works. Your artistry is appreciated! Best regards to you, with hopes of success for your independent label endeavors.

Pat I purchased one of your CD's recently. I really love the work you do, and I can see why so many Guitarist have copied your style. I'm also a guitarist with a soon to be released CD. I'm truly inspired by your playing

Hello, Pat. As a native of the Philly area, I've been listening to your amazing music since the early 70"s. A friend, John Bogus, turned me on to some of your imporvisational techniques, and introduced you to me at a show at the Bijou Cafe in the summer of '77. A few years later, I started studying with Dennis Sandole. Just found your web site and printed out your dissertation on the nature of guitar. I'm living in central PA at this time, where I've been turning people on to your music. Have you heard anything from John Bogus? I've lost track of him since I've moved up here. Steve
