Mr. Martino…The “Nature of the guitar’ materials are greatly illuminating. Gives other ways to view the instrument I’m so passionate about. Thank you for sharing your insights.

Hi Pat, Have you heard from Eric Kloss? I last spoke with him in Jan 2002, just before he left Pittsburgh (as I now have), but haven't heard from him since. He was my favorite music teacher, and I would love to hear from him - would you please pass along my email address?

Wow Pat what can I say. I have been playing guitar now for 14 years and have been inspired by you and your life in such an important way; you are a hero for modern guitar and have given me years of enjoyment-thank you. I love your attitude towards music and wish i could jam with you-maybe in the next life friend. I am not sure i could keep up with that awsome picking though! GOD BLESS

Just got home after a 4 hour plus round trip trek to and from Fukuoka where we saw your 9:30 show at the Blue Note ...Was a pleasure to shake your hand as you and the band walked out ...Always a pleasure and a privilege to see a master musician at work ...The quartet was smokin' ...My wife Masumi really dug the drummer , and the interplay between you ...Well , it is time to call it a day and hit the sack ...Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable evening ...Love ...John & Masumi

I was wondering if you have any plans to come to Little Rock sometime in the future. We have seen you play many times in Boston when we lived there, and would love to see you out here in the near future. With great admiration and respect -Andrea

My guitar teacher (Johnny Fourie) says you are the World Champion of the guitar. I never knew you, but I started agreeing after my teacher made me listen to you and I noticed something different about the way you think about the guiitar. You really are the great and I'm looking forward to listening more to you in the future. I pray also that I will start thinking "principles" rather than "formulas". Thank you.

Hi Pat caught your show (tue) at Ronnie Scotts ( prior to the awful London bombs. Thanks for the autograph, just sorry Id forgotten my camera. It was great to chat with you briefly regarding music and how Wes and Trane have influenced you. I could have asked a million questions but you know what its like when you meet your hero! I wanted to tell you that Im sure Wes would be proud of your achievements in the 37 years since he went and how youve taken the baton so to speak and sprinted faster and better than all other players Be happy and stay creative and I will treasure the autographed insert of the Maker. Mr. Martino: In looking at your itinerary, looks like you are very busy. Just wanted to ask you to please come back to the Nashville area soon. I enjoyed your clinic and concert more than I can tell you, when you were in Murfreesboro, TN in May. (I'm still not over that one! I've never seen such emotional, powerful playing) In the 70's I used to go to hear Lenny Breau often. You, Lenny and Johnny Smith are my favorite guitarist of all time. Thanks, for working so hard to keep us all inspired. Warmest regards, Ed

Thank you for the notice: "Pat and the band, currently in London, are all fine". All the day I was a little bit in trouble about this. I`m sorry not to be in London to hear Pat Martino this year, unfortunately just one location in Europe with a Pat Martino concert. Wish you all the best - take care.
