Pat,
I am lucky to have taken a couple lessons with you and to have played with your recently departed friend, Charles Earland. Your music has had a significant positive effect on my life. I can't wait to see you at the Jazz Showcase in December.

dear Pat
i have just purchased first light from the h.m.v. store in London U.K.
i have been looking for Joyous Lake /Starbright for years as both of those albums were and now are again an inspiration to me.
i've been a professional session guitar player for 20+ years
but when i was learning {i still am} these two albums helped me to figure out what and where to go musically.
I hope your well and next time i'm in the states i'll check out your gig list and try and catch you in concert.
Yours Les Davidson. London. U.K.

RE: Essence
I checked into this once before with Pat and I believe that Essence is actually an Eric Kloss recording. If you do a title search at AllMusic.com for Essence you'll also see it listed as an Eric Kloss recording from the same date 12/14/1973. I've yet to find any recording of it.

2nd try-Anyone?... Pat? allmusic.com lists '73 Muse date titled "Essence". Is this an actual Pat Martino LP? I have not seen it on other discography listings. If so, I am truly upset I am missing something from my Pat Martino collection. Peace, Chris

Dear Pat,thanks for your music. I'm a jazz guitarrist from Spain and I'm studying your music and practicing your solos long time ago, I have learned a lot of your language, thanks a lot, for me your solos are the best jazz academy.

Just to say that I got hold of your creative force video's. I don't quite understand the concepts yet but with patience and perseverance I feel it will enhance my musical vocabulary alot. When will you be performing in Scotland, more precise, come to Aberdeen. Do a workshop and a Gig and maybe we'll do lunch.
Shalom(Peace) from Scotland and the greatest musical pleasures to you for the rest of life.

I've been listening to your music since 1978, and I can't seem to find the one and only album which I own in the first page of your website...it's a goodie! Found your site by linking-in from a music therapy website. Thanks for your advocacy in the area of my own profession. Ongoing good music!

Hey Pat, It's been well over a year since I've taken a lesson and I haven't talked you since then so I thought I'd just say hi. I hope you enjoyed that Dr. Octagon CD. I'm also going to send you a copy of my band's latest soon.
You have taught me SO much in the little time that I have spent with you that it's almost scary. I hope to take another lesson or see you play live sometime soon. Maybe we'll even be able to hook up something in Baltimore at some point.
Anyway, Talk to you soon! Ed

Dear Pat: It's me again, you must think me silly. After I sent the first comment, a short time ago, I was checking some of the comments from other fans. I almost flipped when I saw that you answered my comment from last month and I didn't even know it, I apologize. I just sitting here listening to El Hombre, I really love the organ bag. Do you think that 'Four Dimensions' will ever be released again. I know I asked you that more than once. It is one of my most favorite albums, I lent it to someone years ago, they did manage to give me the album cover back, minus the album. I am so excited to see that you are doing so many things these days. God Bless you & your beautiful wife! Love, Peace, Health, & Happiness! Yours in Christ, Mike
