Hello Pat,
I attended your recent clinic and concert at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE and I must say it was an incredible and inspiring experience (If you remember, I was the 16 year old guitarist, we talked briefly after the clinic). I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity and for the insight you offered us all. I would love to have a chance to study with you one day. If you have a chance, feel free to check out my website (www.tomatocanmusic.com) or e-mail. Once again thank you,
Pat Kane

hello! mr.Martino
i've almost finished my translation of "the nature of guitar"
but thereis a problem with saving the images from the pages
i see them but when i try to save i cannot do it
do you have the images alone
the ideas you share are very interesting
i learn all of the 7chords inversions in 2 minutes( instead of many times before)
but still a question how to use it in solo playing
thanlk you for your last album "remember"

I've listened to your recordings my entire life. My biggest regret is not seeing you perform live in my own backyard at LaMaina's Nightclub in Cherry Hill, N.J. while I was in high school. Must have passed by that place a million times seeing your name on the billboard. I blew it, bigtime !
Continued success with your music.

Dear Pat,
I had the pleasure of meeting you last year at Yoshis when you were autographing CDs, and I mentioned that if it weren't for Michael Hedges, I would not be a Pat Martino fan. You told me how Michael came to visit you when you were recovering from your illness years ago.
I second the "national treasure" idea (maybe we could get you on a postage stamp??!?!?) and also planned on bringing a few of the "uninitiated" amongst my friends to Yoshis. I was so very sorry to get the news that you had been injured, and I hope you heal fast and as pain free as possible. Looking forward to your return to Yoshi's when you're well.
Remember, the smaller the hands, the better the guitar player (or so you taught me last year!!! :-)))
Thanks Pat and take care of yourself!

Hi Pat,
I was ready to bring along several friends to your Thursday and Saturday shows at Yoshi's. However, Yoshi's just called to tell me the show is cancelled. My understanding is that you injured your wrist in a fall. Please know that we (my brother and friends) wish you a speedy recovery and only the best health. As stated previously, we consider you to be a national treature. Take care of yourself.
Safe Travels,
Ben

Hi Pat,
You can thank Russell Malone for my continued interest and education in Jazz and jazz guitar(ists) specifically. My daughter is a 20-year old jazz pianist here in Washington State where we live, and where we met Russell and Benny Green (her favorite) two summers ago. We are very blessed with a continued friendship over the past year.
I just read your story for the first time, and am very moved by your final statement that your guitar is an apparatus to being with the people who come and hear you.
I also commend you on having a wonderfully accessible website and also making yourself available on the allaboutjazz guitar bulletin board.
Thank you. I hope to see you in person some day.
